The investigator has DIRECT responsibility to practice ethical research that protects human subjects rights. Failure to comply with standards and policies established by the Henry Ford Health System FWA can lead to loss of research privileges for an individual, a laboratory or for an entire research program. If an institution is found to be in violation of any of the Federal regulations, all research funding provided to any researcher in the institution may cease.
