TimingAll applications must precede the start of a research project. The IRB doesn't have the ability to retrospectively approve applications. The turn around time for an expedited or exempt review is approximately two weeks. The turn around time for a full review will depend on the timely submission of documents prior to the board review meetings. Generally, the submission deadline is 12 business days before the Institutional Review Board meeting. Be sure to check the IRB Intranet site for the meeting schedule. <<< Back |
