Continuation & Final Reports

The application for the continuation of approval of your research, or the final report, must be submitted to the IRB Office located in Research Administration at least one month prior to the expiration date. In the case of Continuation Review, this will allow your research to continue uninterrupted and guard against lapse in IRB approval. In the case of a Final Report, this will notify the IRB that the research is complete. The Annual Continuation/Final Report Form is located on the IRB web site. The IRB must receive either a Continuation or Final Report within one year of the beginning of your research project.
